Our Rolling Star is an icosahedron (20 triangle-sided) shaped dice. We call these 20 sides the ‘points of the stars.’

Each point of the star carries a unique symbol engraved on the surface.

When the Native Wood Rolling Star is tumbled in its pouch or rolled on a soft flat surface, a symbol is revealed on the top flat surface when it comes to a standstill.

Your unique symbol can be consulted in the Stars of Aroha Meditations book.  Your unique symbol reveals something that could be blocking you from feeling peaceful.

Star Cards

Each Star Card is adorned with silver foil, carries one symbol from the Rolling Star, and features a photograph of a New Zealand landscape, bird, flora, fauna or a unique symbol from an indigenous creation legend.

The symbol drawn from the Native Wood Rolling Star, or from selecting a single Star Card, is then consulted in the Stars of Aroha Meditation’s book to guide your meditation.
